Self-proclaimed "Leaders" and ugly hoardings....

To become a politician and to be known the first step should is to erect hoardings and banners in your locality, apart from being a good liar and a great actor.

Hoardings of the so called political leaders with festival greetings, congratulations to some other leader and happy birthday greetings for some other senior politicians are common sights in almost all cities in India. In fact this is the way how some express their ambitions or aspirations to be known as “politicians” or “leaders”. It’s a way to get recognised in the circles

The excuse to appear on these hoardings and have their picture on the hoarding can be anything from local MP or MLA’s birthday, Rahul Gandhi’s Birthday, L.K.Advani’s birthday to Indian team winning the cricket world cup. No key message is given to the public by means of such posters and it does no good to anyone. These sorts of hoardings only exhibit the false clout that some stupid so called politician enjoys and it’s a internal message to his party cadres and to his known people that he is an aspiring politician.

Photographs of Chief Minister, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi or Late Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy are now used to put up by ambitious so called leaders to get noticed, to attract attention of the senior leaders in their own party. Its focus on one-self for one-self. The locations of such hoardings are often near Minister’s homes, busy cross roads and near secretariat or airports.
Maybe to play the game in politics it’s all needed.

However its time our so called politicians get off this self publicity campaign and political parties should set some standards. We all would like to see a clean, banner free city at all times. The people who put up such hoardings should be penalized as they are creating more work for the civic authorities and its tax payer’s money used to remove them all.....
